Andrzej Olewiński

Andrzej Olewiński is an award winning Polish classical guitarist who perform as a soloist, chamber ensemble member, and session musician. He performed at various festivals in Poland and in Spain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Slovakia, Hungury, Czech Republic, Belarus and the Ukraine. As a session musician, he has shared the stage with numerous well-known artists, performing a stylistically diverse repertoire. He also contributed to the recording of dozens of albums and soundtracks for films and theatrical performances.

Andrzej Olewiński is a member of the Stokłosa Collective Orchestra as well as chamber ensambles such as: Sir Nylon McSteel, Rafał Grząka & Andrzej Olewiński Duo and Aleksander Wilgos & Andrzej Olewiński Classical Guitar Duo.

He released his solo album titled "Układanki” in 2022, featuring original compositions for classical and acoustic guitar. In 2023, the album of the crossover guitar duo Sir Nylon McSteel, comprising compositions by the members - Andrzej Olewiński and Maciej Papalski, had its premiere. Since 2018, Andrzej Olewiński has been teaching guitar at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
